Where Can You Get The Best Paczki In Chicago?

Bakeries all over the city have been busy making and selling thousands of paczki for Fat Tuesday and Mardi Gras, which is tomorrow. 

These Polish doughnuts, which are called 'pownch key'. We found different ways to pronounce it. Maybe these will help you. 'Pan Shki', or the easiest way is to say 'punch key'. No matter how you call them, they have become a holiday tradition.  

These specialty pastries are made from a rich dough containing eggs, fats, sugar, yeast, and sometimes milk. They feature a variety of fruit and crème fillings and can be glazed, or covered with granulated or powdered sugar. Yes, some of them are made with alcohol.
